2026 Lost Coast Film Festival

The Lost Coast Tourism Association invites filmmakers of all ages to submit to the 2nd Annual Lost Coast Film Contest — a community celebration of creativity, inclusivity, and local talent. Whether you’re an aspiring young director or a seasoned storyteller, this is your chance to share your work, be screened locally, and compete for cash prizes

Submission Details

Deadline: January 31, 2026
Fee: $25 per film
Length: 3–7 minutes
Requirements: Family-friendly + submitted with completed entry form
Categories: Elementary • Junior High • High School • Adult • Senio

Prize

Weekly winners in each category receive a $50 cash prize.
The Grand Prize Winner takes home $100 at the Grand Finale.

Screening Schedule (2026)

Weekly screenings begin February 5 with rotating categories so every filmmaker has a moment in the spotlight:

  • Feb 5: Surf Point Coffee House

  • Feb 12: Mi Mochima

  • Feb 19: Swell

  • Feb 26: Mario’s Marina Bar

  • Grand Finale – March 5: Gyppo Ale Mill
